Mr Azubuike said the launch of AfriCover247 is the culmination of a two-year project that began just before the lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic and is the first of its kind in Nigeria anywhere anyone, anywhere in the world, can purchase insurance and report claims through the user-friendly, simple and efficient platform provided by AfriGlobal Insurance Brokers.

Some of the features of the new insurance proposal include Chat box who can handle real-time online chat with customers and offline inquiries anytime and any day of the week, API adaptability which allows other insurance and non-insurance companies to seamlessly connect their digital infrastructure to conduct business transactions, Self-administration because it has the ability to manage users, their permissions and their authorities within the system, while the onboarding of new staff can be easily managed with the profile management tool, among other features.
