Chartwell Agency Completes Website Name Change for Animal Services
ROCKFORD – Chartwell Agency, an award-winning marketing company based in northern Illinois, recently completed the name change and new website for Winnebago County Animal Services.
Winnebago County Animal Services is a department of the Winnebago County Government covering over 500 square miles and serving over 280,000 residents. It provides services such as pet registration, veterinary care of animals in need, animal welfare, and cruelty and adoption investigations.
The organization wanted to share its unique role as a county government department as well as improvements, which lead to more positive outcomes for the pets and residents of Winnebago County. Chartwell facilitated a process to develop a branding message and graphic identity highlighting the mission and role of Animal Services as a department in Winnebago County. This work formed the basis of the website, which was scheduled to launch with the launch of a new shelter management system.
The new website better reflects the organization, is easier to navigate, facilitates service and improves access to information on responsible animal ownership and animal safety. By integrating with the new shelter management system, adoptable pets are updated on the site in real time and residents can easily begin the adoption process online. The site also includes features that allow residents to request other services, share lost and found stray pets, and access a library of helpful articles and resources. The user-friendly web platform allows Animal Services staff to handle most of the ongoing maintenance needs of the website, ensuring that site content remains up-to-date and valuable.
Chartwell also participated in the public launch of the new brand and new website, sharing the success of the organization and promoting the new website resource to the community.
