To give a boost, professional competition eater Joey Chestnut made an appearance to share her love of the nostalgic summer dish and celebrate her recent victory with other hot dog enthusiasts during a meetup. This past 4th July, the connoisseur of beef franc impressively won his 14e Nathan’s famous hot dog eating contest, breaking his own record and consuming 76 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

Plus, the brand is working to make sure everyone can enjoy a hot dog this summer. In its efforts, Nathan’s Famous has partnered with Kroger to support the local community by donating over 40,000 pounds of protein to the Freestore Foodbank. That’s the equivalent of over 160,000 servings of protein, which is one of the most valuable resources the food bank distributes.
